Special Poojas of Shani Dev
Every Saturday, devotees offer a sacred bath (abhishekam) to Lord Shani using mustard oil mixed with black sesame seeds. This ritual is highly beneficial for those experiencing challenges due to Shani’s influence, including Sade Sati and Dhaiya.
Worshipping the Peepal (sacred fig) tree on Saturdays with water, oil lamp, and seven rounds of circumambulation invokes the grace of Lord Shani and helps reduce karmic burdens.
"ॐ शनैश्चराय नमः"
This is an elaborate Vedic-Tantric ritual performed to pacify malefic effects of Shani in the birth chart. It includes chanting, homa (fire ritual), and special offerings by learned priests.
📅 Ideal Occasions: Shani Jayanti, Shani Amavasya, or during Shani Mahadasha.
In this collective planetary prayer, Lord Shani is specially invoked along with the other eight grahas (planets), bringing balance, peace, and cosmic harmony in one’s life.
